* MON - Arrive Cairns International Airport where you will be transferred to your centrally located 3½ star hotel. Dinner reservation for 18:30 at the popular Italian restaurant located at your hotel.
* TUE - 09:30am— After breakfast you will be taken on a Cairns exploration tour with a delicious lunch at the Cairns marina. Afternoon is for your personal relaxation and/or shopping activities. 18:30pm– Your dinner table awaits at a local restaurant.
* WED- AM—After breakfast, morning at the leisure.
Take away lunch and snack package on the way to airport. Departure at 13:00, flight to Lockhart River (1hr-45min) and transfer to Portland Roads where we board our vessel.
This diving expedition includes 28 dives amongst the pristine Mantis Reef, Great Detached Reef (Oceanic reef with 100m drop off), areas around Raine Island (Turtles, Silvertip and Tiger Sharks). * WED - Approximate arrival to Cooktown at 17:00. Relax at your 3½ star hotel, dinner at your hotel.
* THU - All day at your leisure. Breakfast and lunch at your hotel. Dinner at the Sovereign Resort.
* FRI - Breakfast and morning tea at your leisure. After lunch Cooktown-sunset tour with Lucie. Dinner at the ‘Top Pub’, a favourite with the locals.
* SAT - 5 hrs Aboriginal Rock Art tour with Willie Gordon. Lunch with your local Cooktown guide Lucie, at the Botanical gardens where wallabies snack on the grass around you. Take a leisurely stroll around these famous Gardens, followed by a familiarity tour around town and James Cook museum. Dinner at your hotel.
* SUN - All day at leisure in Cooktown. Breakfast and lunch provided. Farewell dinner party at the Wharf restaurant. Prize for new FaDETA club members and the best underwater researcher and photographer award ceremony.
* MON - After breakfast you can climb Mt. Cook, takeaway lunch and at 2:30 pm you’ll board your bus that will transfer you to your Cairns hotel. Dinner table reserved for 19:30.
* TUE - Breakfast at your hotel. Connect with return flight home.
