image077.jpgDuring the winter months at low tide, crocodiles are a common sight. To see a 5 (five) metre crocodile in the wild is an amazing experience. During winter months at low tide you are almost guaranteed to see on of these "dinosaurs".

Your local fishing guide will point out the habitat and tell tale "slides" of these ancient creatures while providing photos and video opportunities.

  • The saltwater crocodile is the largest living crocodilian species based on confirmed measurements.
  • It is also the world's largest living reptile in terms of mass.
  • Adult males can reach sizes of up to 7 meters in length.
  • Females are smaller, the normal maximum adult size being 2.5 - 3 m.
  • Adult male in the wild can weigh up to 1000kg.
